The photo was taken in Chemnitz in 1898. It is believed to be of the Häfner family but could also be of the Leidhold family.

The photo was taken in 1924. It is believed to be of the Leidhold family but could also be of the Häfner family.

Person 02 Wolfgang Nauke born 1921 in Dresden. Son of person 8.
Person 03 Unknown widow. Believed to be Marie Luise Häfner born Lindemann Believed to be Person 1 from Photo 1.
Person 04 Unknown. Believed to be Franz Eduard Leidhold born in Chemnitz, Germany, the father of Person 6,
Person 05 Unknown. Believed to be Anna Augusta Leidhold born Richter in Chemnitz, Germany, wife of Person 4.
Person 06 Klara Meta Häfner born Leidhold 24 Feb 1867, in Chemnitz, Germany. She is Person 5 in Photo 1.
Person 07 Unknown.
Person 08 is Gertrud Nauke born Häfner 18 Aug 1892, in Altendorf bei Chemnitz, Germany; the daughter of Person 6, mother of persons 1 & 2.

Seated on the left is Klara Meta Häfner born Leidhold. It is possible that the woman on the right is either her sister or cousin.

What is known of Photo 1.5:

The photo was taken circa 1910. It is known that Klara worked for a time with laundry women, Mina and Hedwig Speck to left and right of Klara.  It is not known if she was part owner or an employee. The fact that she is the only one in the photo not wearing an apron could suggest that she was either the owner or manager of the business.
