This article "The Life of my Grandmother", was posted in the Munich Merkur in 2015 to promote the Gertrudspostkarten website and to search for information to find Gregor Bauer. Gregor worked for Gertrud's father, Wilhelm Häfner. He assisted with the setup and operatation of Wilhelm's Zip-Line amusement ride. He courted Gertrud with many poetic postcards.
